Foam Rolling helps release tension and soreness within the muscles. It is a great tool to use after workouts and in between massage sessions to improve flexibility and range of motion.
I like to use a lacrosse ball to assist in releasing my muscles on a deeper level. The small area of the lacrosse ball allows the user to pinpoint the pain and really get in there to release the tender spots or “trigger points.” You can get creative and find ways to use a lacrosse ball but here are a few videos that will get you started.

How many people can say that they target their pelvic floor muscles when they stretch after a workout? It is so important to release these muscles, as they assist with posture. Your pelvic floor muscles along with your abdominal muscles help to support your spine. Keeping your pelvic floor muscles strong and released can allow for easier bladder and bowel emptying.
